'April 23-29 2018 is Fashion Revolution week! This year is the 5 year anniversary of the Rana Plaza disaster, where a garment factory in Bangladesh collapsed, killing 1138 people and injuring 2500 others. Fashion Revolution was started in reaction to this tragedy to demand greater transparency in fashion supply chains, and for better conditions for the workers. The movement has grown every year, and major brands are starting to clean up their act in response to consumer demand. Next week, take part in the Fashion Revolution by posting a picture on social media and asking your favourite brand #whomademyclothes .
